John E. Price

John is an experienced litigator, loyal advocate, and trusted advisor.  John’s clients rely on him to see the big picture, provide practical advice, and bring effective and efficient litigation strategies to bear when clients find themselves in court.  John has represented individuals, private corporations, and government entities in a wide range of matters, including general insurance defense cases, commercial/business disputes, trade secrets cases, product liability cases, trucking/transportation cases, employment discrimination suits, civil rights cases, construction defect cases, and professional negligence suits.  As part of the firm’s railroad defense team, John has also defended Class I railroads in a wide variety of cases, including suits involving personal injury, wrongful death, and mass torts.

Mark C. Wilby

Mark C. Wilby joined the firm in 1986, becoming a partner in 1991. Mr. Wilby has continually expanded his practice as the needs of the firm’s growing clientele have evolved. As a member of the Litigation Group, Mr. Wilby works on numerous railroad defense and general litigation matters. He is heavily involved with our growing Employment Law Practice and routinely provides counsel for families that require adoption assistance.

Sonja R. Tate

Sonja Tate has been shepherding her clients through the litigation process for nearly 25 years.  Understanding that the most nerve-wracking part of litigation is not knowing what to expect, Sonja works to ensure that her clients, whether they be individuals, families or businesses, understand the process, the possibilities, and what to expect, giving them a better sense of control. An advocate for alternative dispute resolution, she became a certified mediator in 2018.

Dora H. Hogg

Dora Hogg’s primary practice area is employment law, representing employers.  Her experience in employment matters includes responding to charges filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, drafting policy manuals, counseling employers on discipline and terminations, drafting severance and release agreements, providing advice regarding compliance with federal and state law provisions including Title VII, American With Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act; and representing employers in employment litigation matters.  In addition to employment law, she also practices railroad law.
