Russell V. Mobley

Russell V. Mobley began his career as a Certified Public Accountant before bringing his extensive accounting and tax knowledge to the firm in 1996. His experience and detailed work ethic allowed Mr. Mobley to quickly become an integral part of the firm’s transactional practice. In 1999, Mr. Mobley became a partner with the Tax Team.

His practice areas include estate planning (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, elder law, tax planning, asset protection, family partnerships), estate and trust administration and probate matters (including guardianships and conservatorships), business organizations (LLCs, partnerships, corporations), charitable organizations, business succession planning, business sales, purchases, and contracts.  Mr. Mobley has extensive experience and assists taxpayers in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and Georgia Department of Revenue.

Mr. Mobley received his B.B.A. from Augusta University, his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law and his L.L.M. in taxation from the University of Florida College of Law.

Mr. Mobley is an Augusta native.  He is an active member of the Augusta Estate Planning Council, where he served as President, a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and the Augusta Bar Association. He is a past member of Leadership Augusta.

Mr. Mobley and his wife, Teri, have two grown children and a grandchild on the way.  Outside of the office, Mr. Mobley enjoys exercising, boating, working with his hands and spending time with family and friends.
